“My dad loved frogs because he said when he was fighting for our country the frogs would make noises when someone was around so in a way they helped him
survive." -Jennifer Livingston, Owner
Located in Hyden, Kentucky, Jennifer, owner of Gettin Froggy
Bows, is a hard-working mom who wants to make her son proud
while honoring her father’s history. Her shop offers headwraps,
big bows, small bows, piggies, adult headbands and seasonal
bummies. Jennifer opened her shop while searching for a hobby. She discovered there weren’t many bow shops in her area so she hit the ground running! Coming up on two
years in business, Jennifer has really developed a strong clientele and quality products.
When asked how she came up with the name she explained, “my dad loved frogs because he said when he was fighting for our country the frogs would make noises when someone was around so in a way they helped him survive."
It’s easy to see that this shop is grounded and inspired by family. Jennifer shared that her son is her main
inspiration. She said, “I strive to make him proud of me I have always wanted my son to know I worked hard and never gave up on my dream of owning my own business and that no matter what others do to try to bring you down you just keep pushing through.” Clearly determination pays off! We have seen the quality she produces, and her brand reps and customers are singing her praise!
While speaking with Jennifer she was sure to highlight that her goal is to make her customers happy. She went on, “My reps, ambassadors and customers are number one and I really try to show my appreciation to each one of them. I’m so thankful
for all their support.”
