Issue 018 - SPOTLIGHT Featuring For the Boho Babe

For the Boho Babe is a small shop dedicated to
creating custom bags for children of any age! They
offer their basic style in a variety of colors and
prints, along with custom themed bags and custom shaped bags. This shop’s creations are truly endless. For the Boho Babe’s name was actually chosen by one of the shop owner’s close, small shop friends, Shannon! Shannon was one of Sandy’s first friends she made when she discovered the small shop world, and she pushed Sandy to open up her shop, creating things she truly loves! Creating leather bags with customizable options was something she hadn’t seen before and she felt it would be something new and fresh to offer, and from there Sandy’s creativity and designs just continued to expand! Overall her vision is to create pieces that are functional and stylish to add to any child’s wardrobe.

1. What is your favorite food? Least favorite?
Favorite- pasta
Least favorite- seafood
2. What is something you hate that everyone else seems to love? Everyone seems to love coffee and I never drink it. I do love the smell of it though.
3. If you woke up and a million dollars was deposited into your account and the bank said to keep it, what would you do? More than likely invest some into my shop, purchase a new home, and travel somewhere new!
4. What would be your 3 wishes if a genie could grant you anything?
For my daughter to live a long and healthy life, for me to be able to accomplish any dreams I have, and to always have a clean home.
5. What is your favorite thing about running your shop? Least favorite? Favorite thing- simply being able to create something and people truly loving it. It is so rewarding and such an amazing feeling. Least favorite- having sad customers when they’re not able to score a bag from a drop. I wish I was able to make enough for everyone!
