Issue 020- lazy Bug Apparel

Lazy Bug Apparel was started up in February of 2020. My maternity leave was ending and I couldn’t fathom leaving my kids at daycare. So I bought a machine, researched, watched YouTube

videos, and began to sew! I started off selling to friends and family that were local, but business just took off from there! I soon realized I needed a shop name. I wanted a name that was gender- neutral. Ladybug, a name I was called when I was younger, instantly came to mind! Next, I thought of the clothing I was making at the time (loungewear) and that’s when lazy bug popped into my head. 1. What is your favorite food? Least favorite? My favorite food is anything pasta! I’d eat pasta every day if I could. My least favorite food is seafood.

2. What is something you love and others hate or something you hate that everyone else seems to love?

I LOVE peace and quiet while others tend to hate being alone.

3. If you woke up and a million dollars was deposited into your account tomorrow morning and the bank said to keep it, what would you do? I would pay off my mother-in-law’s debts. She has stage 4 cancer and deserves to live a worry-free life.

4. What would be your 3 wishes if a genie could grant you anything?

- For my parents and in-laws to be healthy

- For the world to have more peace

- To have more wishes ;)

5. What is your favorite thing about running your shop? Least favorite?

My favorite thing is meeting so many people around the world and seeing my creations on their kids. My least favorite is not being able to meet everyone in person either due to covid or being so far.
